Welcome Letter

Dear Onteora Middle School Families,

It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you as the Interim Principal of Onteora Middle School for the 2025-26 school year. I'm honored to join this vibrant and welcoming school community, and I look forward to partnering with you in support of your child's success.

With 32 years in public education, including over 20 years in educational leadership, I've had the
privilege of working with incredible students, educators, and families across a range of school communities. What has always grounded me is a belief in the power of relationships, high
expectations, and open, honest communication.

Over the next few weeks, you'll be receiving more detailed information about our 6th Grade
Orientation Program (tentatively the week of August 25th), as well as grade level letters, schedules,
school supplies, and other helpful updates to get you ready for the start of school. My goal is to
ensure that every family feels informed, supported, and connected from day one.
